David M. Wolfford & Son, Inc. (DWE) is a bondable electrical contractor that has been in business for over 37 years. Our main office is located in Culpeper, Virginia. Our primary area of work is Northern Virginia but we are capable of working on projects from Richmond to Fredericksburg and Charlottesville to Winchester.
DWE is committed to providing our clients with competitive prices, safe, first-class installations and worry-free experiences. Management realizes that everyone has a competitive price but feel that by being proactive in managing our project, we can limit the amount of worry that clients may have.
Anticipating and planning for issues, which could delay project completions, is our responsibility. Our staff is BIM capable and use Pre-Fabrication processes in an effort to reduce our footprint on the project. DWE realizes that time is money and the client wants to complete their work as quickly as possible.
By doing our jobs properly, the clients and the owners can concentrate on other issues instead of worrying about the electrician. Management believes that one less worry is a good thing for our clients.
DWE has also committed to providing a World Class safety program for its employees and clients. Additionally, DWE is committed to providing the safest, best trained craftsman available. They believe this so much that they do not leave the training of their craftsmen to others. DWE is certified by the Commonwealth of Virginia to conduct their own apprenticeship training program.

Electricians-One of the Top 10 Best Jobs in 2014
According to Business News Daily, in an article published on December 18th, 2013; the best jobs for the future lists Electrician as the top job. They go on to say: “Jobs for people who know how to install and maintain electrical systems are expected to grow by nearly 25 percent over the next several years. You don't need a college education for this job, but most electricians receive training through a formal apprenticeship or by attending a technical school. Many states require you to be licensed before you can start working as an electrician.”

David M. Wolfford & Son, Inc. was inspected by V.O.S.H.A. yesterday at their Marshall Road High School project in Fairfax County, Virginia. This 360,000 square foot phased renovation project in which students and school staff continue to use the facility had no violations. Management would like to congratulate all of our staff for continuing to uphold the highest of standards in our work and our dedication to the safety of the general public, our clients, fellow subcontractors and our staff.

David M. Wolfford & Son, Inc. has been named the electrical contractor for the Thomas Jefferson High School for Science & Technology Renovation project in Fairfax County, Virginia. This sixty-seven million dollar project demolishes over 80,000 square feet of existing school; adds an additional 205,000 square feet of new construction along with the renovation of over 183,000 square feet of existing school.
The demolition, additions and renovation activities for this project will proceed while students and staff continue to use the facility. Construction is initially scheduled to begin in April, 2013 and conclude in December, 2016
